It’s easier than you think to bless your kids!
Want to start blessing your kids? Not sure how exactly to go about doing it? Try simply using this text from the Old Testament:
May the Lord bless you and keep you.
May the Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you.
May the Lord look upon you with favor and give you peace.
— Numbers 6:24-26
You can also bless your kids using passages from the New Testament, such as the ones listed below:
May God himself, the God of peace,
sanctify you through and through.
May your whole spirit, soul and body
be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The one who calls you is faithful
and He will do it.
— 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24
And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love,
may have power, together with all the saints,
to grasp how wide and long and high and deep
is the love of Christ,
and to know this love that surpasses knowledge —
that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
— Ephesians 3:17b-19
And this is my prayer:
that your love may abound more and more
in knowledge and depth of insight,
so that you may be able to discern what is best
and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ,
filled with the fruit of righteousness
that comes through Jesus Christ —
to the glory and praise of God.
— Philippians 1:9-11
